About Me

Twenty years ago I asked a Tarot card reader what would I be doing when I was 50. She replied, “I see you doing something so wildly creative, it defies a job title.” Only recently did I realize that was a slick way of saying, “I have no idea of what you’ll be doing.” But that prediction kept me charging ahead to the fifties with zeal and anticipation. Now that the future is today, I’m ready for anything!

Page Not Found? You’ll Find It Here.

A note of thanks, and an apology, to my readers:

To those of you who found a “page not found” page when Googling my blog, I apologize. With the millions of blogs out there competing for your attention, you don’t need the aggravation. My pre-Blogger posts are being indexed after being exported from my old platform. For now, the "Page Not Found" page will take you to my new home page, where hopefully you will see this post. If you're still with me, here are direct links to the posts:

If there are more posts that you’re looking for, please leave a comment below with the post title you're looking for and I’ll reply with a direct link to it. Not an ideal solution, but the best solution I've got right now.

Now for the thanks. I’m totally amazed, and profoundly grateful, that readers from around the world have found a fledgling blog by a writer from Bruno, Minnesota of interest. To my readers from Russia, Germany, Hungary, the U.K., Nigeria, the Philippines, Canada, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, and Chile (and of course the United States): Спасибо, vielen dank, gracias, and thank you!

  1. Hi Susan! I got your comment and replied on my blog. I noticed one other thing about your "page not found" posts which is that some of them seem to have changed titles. For instance the post from last December 14 was at:

    http://www.poultryandprose.com/blog/2010/12/nothing-but-net-and-no-iron.html

    and is now at:

    http://www.poultryandprose.com/2010/12/full-court-press.html

Did you change the post title at some point during editing? It may be that Typepad used the first title you entered, but Blogger used the final title. That may be the root of the problem here. But as I said on my blog, the best thing is just to let Google re-index your blog, and prod it with Google Webmaster Tools. It will happen gradually, it's just a matter of time. Good luck!
